Fire safety at home
West Midlands Fire Service offers free Home Safety Checks which includes advice on fire safety.
West Midlands Fire Service can visit your home to discuss the
risks of fire and to look for any warning signs that could lead to
fires. They also work with carers to make sure that they know
how to get themselves and the person they care for out of the home
safely in the event of a fire.
West Midlands Fire Service will also look to work closely with
all partner agencies on fire safety issues that are not related to
fire, that may affect that person's ability to live safely and
independently in their home.
